Accessibility statement

Our aim
We want everyone to be able to use the Staiceles krūmmellenes website comfortably, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments. The site is built to the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines.
What we have done
The whole site works with a keyboard and the focus is always visible. Each page starts with a “Skip to content” link. Text contrast meets level AA. Every image has a text description, and form fields have labels and clear error messages. If your device asks for reduced motion, animations are switched off.
There is an accessibility button in the bottom right corner of the screen. It lets you enlarge text, switch on high contrast, underline links, choose an easier-to-read font, add spacing, stop animations, turn the page greyscale and enlarge the cursor. Your choice is kept on your device.
The site's accessibility is checked automatically with the axe tool before every release.
Known limitations
Booking the guesthouse on Booking.com and directions on Google Maps open outside websites whose accessibility we cannot control. If they do not work for you, contact us directly by form, phone or email.
Report a problem
If there is something on this site you cannot use, please tell us: call +371 29 100 990 or write to [email protected]. We will reply within five working days and help you enquire another way.
